- Local Data Storage: All user preferences (such as selected language, theme choice, font size, and widget configuration) are stored exclusively on your device using local storage (`UserDefaults` and local iOS App Groups). This information never leaves your device.
- No Location Tracking: If solar/sunset calculations are used for liturgical hour synchronization, coordinates are processed strictly on-device without transmission to any remote servers.
3. Website Information Collection (burvar.org)
Our website is hosted on Cloudflare Workers edge network. When you interact with our website:
- Contact Inquiries: When you voluntarily submit a message using our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message content. This information is used exclusively to respond to your inquiry and provide customer or spiritual publication support. We never sell, rent, or trade this information.
- Technical Logs: Like all standard web servers, Cloudflare may temporarily process minimal technical metadata (such as IP address, browser user-agent, and requested URLs) strictly for DDoS mitigation, edge caching, and security enforcement.
- Cookies & Local Tracking: We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party marketing cookies on this site.
4. Data Sharing & Third Parties
Burvar LLC does not sell, rent, license, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We only engage service providers (such as Cloudflare for secure edge hosting and delivery) that process technical traffic in strict compliance with applicable privacy regulations.
5. Compliance with Apple App Store Guidelines
In accordance with Apple App Store Review Guideline 5.1.1 (Data Collection and Storage) and App Tracking Transparency (ATT), our apps:
- Do not request access to the Advertising Identifier (IDFA).
- Do not track users across third-party apps and websites.
- Do not transmit personal data to data brokers.
